Employee Mobility

Opportunities for both academic and non-academic staff to work abroad are an integral part of their professional development. The Erasmus+ program provides opportunities for study abroad and international collaboration.

There are several types of mobility to choose from under Erasmus+ mobility abroad: 

teaching stay - academic staff can only go to partner universities of FTVS. 

training - both academic and non-academic staff can go. As part of the training, it is possible to attend a "staff week", a language course or arrange a "job shadowing". The training does not have to take place at the FTVS partner university.  

BIP (Blended Intensive Programme) - FTVS employees can participate in the so-called Blended Intensive Programme (BIP), which combines physical mobility (minimum 5 days) with a virtual component of teaching or collaboration (online meetings). Mobility administration procedure:

Create and fill out an application on the IS Věda portal
Will draft a Mobility Agreement

Faculty

Will conduct a selection process as part of the employee mobility program

OZV RUK European Office

Will issue a Subscriber Agreement

Financial support 

The amount of the financial support consists of a transport allowance, which is graduated according to the distance between the home and host institutions (according to the distance calculator), and living expenses. 

The financial amounts under the Participation Agreement are capped. If the amount is exceeded, an additional source of funding must be secured from the home faculty.

Dates for Staff Mobility Selection Processes

May (results announced by the end of June) – for stays in August, September, October, November, December, January, February, and March
October (results announced by the end of November) – for stays in January, February, March, April, May, June, and July
January (results announced by the end of February) for stays in April, May, June, July, August, September, October, and November

Applications must be submitted via the IS Science - PAS application, ZERA program, always by the last day of the month, by 3 p.m.(The application must be moved to the "submit" stage).
