Coach

Bachelor's Degree Programme (3 Years, Full-Time)

Graduate profile

Graduates of the Coach study programme are specialists in general sports training as well as in a selected sport discipline. They acquire knowledge in pedagogy, psychology, biomedicine, sports training, and didactic methods relevant to their sport.

This interdisciplinary foundation enables graduates to design and implement targeted training programmes for athletes of all age groups and performance levels.

Programme characteristics

The aim of the programme is to prepare experts in sports training with coaching, methodical, psychological, social, diagnostic and intervention competences. Graduates are expected to understand both the theoretical design of training programmes and their practical application.

The study plan is structured to provide a solid foundation in applied sport sciences, alongside the development of basic motor skills during the first and partly the second year of study. These foundations are later applied in specialised sport didactics courses and practical training during the second and third years.
