Mandatory internships for students in the Physical Education and Sports Management program

Students in both the bachelor’s and master’s programs in Physical Education and Sports Management complete mandatory internships during their studies, which allow them to gain valuable experience in a real-world sports environment.

Internships take place in a wide range of organisations active in sport - from sports clubs and associations, through sports and marketing agencies to organisers of leisure activities for children and young people.

The scope and content of the internships vary depending on the level of study and are scheduled at different times throughout the academic year, taking into account the academic calendar and other academic obligations.

Bachelor’s program: Students complete 50 hours of practical training per semester.
Master’s program: Students can participate in the organization’s activities to a greater extent—up to 280 hours over the course of the year.

Cooperation with sports organisations interested in joining the student internship programme is based on the framework agreement concluded for the academic year. The organisation thus involved becomes  Partner for practice

This status brings not only the opportunity to collaborate with students and involve them in their own activities, but also marketing benefits - for example, publicity on faculty communication channels and the possibility to use the programme logo for self-promotion.

In the area of student internships, we currently work with almost two dozen organizations, but we are very happy to expand our portfolio of cooperating partners to include other entities from the world of sport. If you are interested in more information about internships and joining the Partner for Internships program, please contact us.
