Admission Instructions for Applicants

Both programs are considered undergraduate or graduate programs and may be entered by all students graduating from any type of secondary schools, high schools, grammar schools, lyceum, U.S. community colleges or equivalent, as well as by students with o­ne or more year of university education or university graduates.

The application deadlines both for Physical Education and Sport and for Physiotherapy are:
February 29, 2012 (1st round)
August 31, 2012 (2nd round)
Later exceptional applications will be resolved perhaps even in return.

The admission procedures
without applicants presence will take part presently, so everyone will receive the final decission, whether admitted or not, within stated dates.

Language requirements
:
as English is the medium of instruction in all offered programs, all applicants, regardless of country of origin or citizenship status, are required to certify competence in the English language prior to admission by true verification. Students will be eligible for admission o­nly when all information o­n the form has been supplied and all required documents submitted.

Note for P.E. applicants:
The applicants for Physical Education and Sport are required to learn what skills are expected in each successful applicant for both B.S. and M.S. degree in sport and exercise science. However the applicants take the responsibility for a possible failure in the practical area of his/her studies.

In the search to admit top quality candidates, the Admission Office of the FPES consider the following documents:

  • Application form:
    Physiotherapy
    Physical Education and Sport
  • Sport doctor’s report
  • Recognition of Education: Verified photocopies of a General Certificate of Secondary School (which must be certified with an Apostille by the Ministry of foreign Affairs or Ministry of Education of the country you studied in), a School Leaving Examination Certificate or another certificate equivalent to the British GCE A-level or a college diploma, including all marks/grades from each year and number of hours. This copy should be translated into English or Czech.
  • References and Certificates about your achieved knowledge of English Language
  • Curriculum vitae
  • Further relevant info and references
  • Recent passport-size photograph

Applications and documents become the property of the faculty and are NOT returned, whether a student is accepted or not. But such documents may be returned upon request.

How to apply for Czech visa

When applying for Czech visa you will need the following documents:

  1. Proof of student status in the Czech Republic issued by a state authority or a legal person (university, faculty) - letter of acceptance
  2. Proof of accommodation for the whole period of the stay in the Czech Republic; certificate of a state authority or a legal person (school, university) o­n provided accommodation during the study is also accepted
  3. Police certificate (issued by your local RCMP office showing no record of criminal conviction
  4. Czech Criminal Record issued in the Czech Republic - you can apply for it through our Consulate/Embassy o­n the attached application form; a completed form must be accompanied by the copy of your Birth Certificate showing names of your parents

Note:

Applications for conferment the visa above 90 days disposes CZ Police within the limit of 90 days, in extra complicated cases till 120 days from Application delivery.

The applications for study stay Visa over 90 days will arrange CZ Police by 60 days from the date of presentation.

But after recent experience with Police and Embassies we recommend all applicants to request for visas preferably yet earlier !
