ACTA UNIVERSITATIS CAROLINAE – KINANTHROPOLOGICA ISSN 1212-1428 The “ACTA UNIVERSITATIS CAROLINAE – Kinanthropologica” is the Czech and International journal providing a forum for dissemination of research in Kinanthropology (Sport Sciences). To be accepted for publication in the AUC-Kinanthropologica, the articles, empirical and non-empirical research, case studies and methodological papers must be original, exclusive, written in English and must not be not published previously. The approach is interdisciplinary, including the general and applied fields of Kinanthropology such as Anthropomotorics, Biomechanics, Exercise Physiology, Motor Learning, Physical Education, Physical Therapy, Sport Pedagogy, Sport Psychology, Sport Sociology, Sport Philosophy, Sport History etc. Before publication all manuscripts are reviewed through the blind review process by at least two expert referees, which takes 6 - 8 weeks. The final decision on acceptance is based both on the recommendation of reviewers and acceptable quality of writings, illustrations (figures) and tables. EDITORIAL BOARD Prof. Ing. Václav Bunc, CSc. Acta Universitatis Carolinae - Kinanthropologica article submission guidelines The layout of the printed text is made by the publisher - Karolinum Press. Please respect the requirements stated on http://cupress.cuni.cz/ink2_stat/index.jsp?include=pokyny2, otherwise your article cannot be accepted for publishing. These requirements and additional Editorial Board recommendations are summarized in the following subsections. Size and Formatting The recommended size of the document is up to 20 typewritten pages (A4 paper size, 2 cm margins, Times New Roman font size 12, 1.5 line spacing) including tables and pictures. Neither the English summary nor the “Czech abstrakt” has to exceed 250 words. Document File Format Please use Microsoft Word 97-2003 file format (.doc). Do not use “Track Changes” feature. When creating footnotes, tables and equations, please, use the built-in Word features. Images If possible, use vector graphics for images (EPS, SVG). For bitmaps use high-quality and high resolution TIFF od JPEG files. Please attach separately these files and reference them in order of appearance as figure1 References Please use the British Standard Harvard ISO 690:2010 citation standard (examples can be found here: www.lboro.ac.uk/library/skills/Advice/Citation.pdf).
